Most faq topic write-ups skim the surface and leave you with the same answer for every boat. This one is built around the questions that actually move a dockage decision: how marinas measure your boat, how they bill, and which clauses to read twice before signing.
Yacht dockage operates differently from standard marinas — deeper water, higher amperage, beam-tolerant slips, and concierge-grade services. Pricing and infrastructure reflect the operational complexity.
Most yacht-capable marinas require advance reservation with proof of insurance, vessel documentation, and crew details. Walk-ups are rarely possible at top facilities.
Pricing is per-foot per-night for transient ($8–$30) or per-month for annual ($25–$80/ft). Power, fuel, and crew amenities add on top.
