How we use AI

WetSlipFinder uses AI to help boaters discover marinas and plan trips. Here is how we use it — and why you should always verify before you cast off.

01

Where we use AI

WetSlipFinder uses AI-assisted tools to help organize and summarize marina information, generate boating educational content, produce weather and tide insights, surface docking difficulty signals, support route-planning suggestions, and structure city and amenity overviews.

02

Human oversight

AI-generated drafts are reviewed by the WetSlipFinder Editorial Team before publication on long-form pages. Marina data is checked against public sources, dockmaster conversations, and verified boater reports.

03

AI is not perfect

AI tools can be incomplete or out of date. Slip availability, pricing, depths, fuel hours, weather conditions, route hazards, and amenities change frequently and may not always be reflected accurately.

04

Always verify

Before you travel, always confirm marina slip availability, pricing, fuel hours, and rules directly with the marina. Always verify weather, tide, wind, and route safety with NOAA, the U.S. Coast Guard, current charts, and your own judgment.

05

Not an official authority

Our AI-powered tools (docking difficulty scores, route planning helpers, weather widgets, fishing intelligence, etc.) are informational and educational only. They are NOT an official navigation, safety, or emergency authority.
