Editorial Policy
WetSlipFinder publishes marina, wet slip, and boating guidance for boat owners and cruisers across the United States. This policy explains how we research, write, and review every page on the site.
Independence
WetSlipFinder is editorially independent. Marinas cannot pay to be ranked higher, to influence the language used to describe them, or to remove unfavorable information.
Sourcing
Pricing, amenity, and depth information is gathered from a combination of marina-published rate sheets, direct dockmaster conversations, NOAA chart data, state and municipal harbor records, and verified boater reports. We disclose when figures are averages or estimates.
Review process
Every long-form guide is reviewed by our Marina Research Review group before publication and again at least once every 12 months. Pricing pages are reviewed twice yearly. Marina detail pages are spot-audited continuously based on user reports.
Corrections
If you find an error, please contact us. We correct factual errors promptly and note material changes at the top of the affected page.
Affiliate and advertising disclosure
When WetSlipFinder earns a commission on a booking, reservation, or listing referral, we disclose it clearly. Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial rankings or recommendations.
AI and automation
We use automation to surface data, summarize regional pricing, and generate facet and comparison views. All long-form editorial content is written and reviewed by human contributors.
