Accuracy disclaimer
Marina information here is for research and planning only — not a substitute for marina confirmation, NOAA navigation publications, or current marine forecasts.
Information accuracy policy
Marina details change all the time. Slip availability, depth, amenities, storm plans, and pricing can shift week to week.
Always call or email the marina to confirm before you travel, book, or sign a contract.
Weather, wind, tide, and visibility values on this site come from forecast models. Use them for trip planning only — not for navigation decisions underway.
- Check official NOAA marine forecasts before you leave the dock.
- Check current NOAA tide tables for your route.
- Confirm marina depth and slip fit with the dockmaster.
Data sources
We pull marina records from several public and operator sources, then review them in-house. Sources include:
- Operator-published rate cards and amenity lists.
- NOAA Coast Pilot and nautical chart annotations.
- USACE controlling-depth surveys for federal channels.
- U.S. Coast Guard Light List entries.
- Direct outreach from our editorial team.
Weather and sea-state values come from Open-Meteo's marine model and NOAA station data. Tide predictions come from CO-OPS station harmonics.
Fuel prices come from operator submissions, boater reports, and dockmaster phone confirmations. Each price carries a freshness timestamp on the fuel dock pages.
Weather, tide, and marina information
Marina depth values are the operator's stated controlling depth at mean low water. We do not survey channels ourselves.
Channels shoal between dredging cycles. Inlet channels and ICW segments change fastest, and tidal range can swing several feet.
Hurricane shelter ratings reflect the marina's engineered plan. They are not a guarantee of damage-free survival, and any named storm can override the rating.
Amenities and slip-size capacity are accurate as of the last editorial review. The review date is shown on each marina page.
Liveaboard policies and pet rules are set by the marina and often change mid-season.
Third-party data disclaimer
Some content on this site comes from third-party sources. Conditions change, and data may not always be current.
We do not control third-party data and cannot guarantee it is complete, accurate, or up to date.
User verification responsibility
You are responsible for verifying any detail you rely on. Before each trip or booking, confirm the following directly with the marina:
- Weather and sea-state conditions
- Tide and current information
- Marina details, slip availability, and rules
- Pricing, fees, and contract terms
- Navigation hazards and channel depth
High-volume marinas in primary cruising regions are reviewed quarterly. Lower-traffic and inland marinas are reviewed at least once a year.
Reporting errors and corrections
If you spot an error, tell us. We accept boater-submitted corrections through the contact page.
Each accepted correction triggers a fresh editorial review of the affected record.
Liability
WetSlipFinder, its contributors, and its parent organization are not liable for navigation incidents, property damage, financial loss, or any other harm arising from reliance on information published on this site.
